At Ramat Shalom Beth Israel, we bring Jewish learning to life – and to heart. Our experienced educators, together with our Rabbis and Cantor who are actively present in the classroom, share the joy of our tradition, invite questions, and lead hands-on experiences in Jewish history, holidays, customs, beliefs, Hebrew, culture, and Israel.
Because relationships come first, every student is known, supported, and connected. Those connections deepen over the years, so Hebrew School feels less like a class and more like belonging to a community. We partner with you through the journey and celebrate with pride as your child becomes Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
Our Hebrew School is more than a classroom – it’s a close-knit community where every child is known, cared for, and celebrated.
We believe every family should have access to quality Jewish education. Scholarships are available for those in need.
Learning about Judaism should be joyful! Our Rabbis, Cantor, and teachers bring creativity and energy to every lesson, ensuring students leave with smiles and lasting memories.
The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) at Ramat Shalom Beth Israel (RSBI) plays an essential role in supporting our Hebrew School community. Made up of dedicated parents and staff, the PTO works to strengthen the connection between home and school, ensuring our students have a rich, engaging, and joyful Jewish learning experience. Rooted in the values of collaboration and community, the PTO helps by fostering meaningful relationships and creating a warm, inclusive environment for all families.
From organizing special holiday celebrations and planning engaging family programs to supporting classroom needs, the PTO is involved in enhancing every aspect of school life. We invite all RSBI families to take part – whether you have time to volunteer, share ideas, or simply attend events, your involvement makes a real impact. If you’re interested in joining the Hebrew School PTO, please contact Brett Gili. Together, we can continue to build a strong, connected community that supports our children as they grow in their Jewish identity and learning.
