We’ve all heard of Sundays in the Park - now think Wednesdays at RSBI!
For the past year, a wonderful group of ladies (open to gentlemen, too!) has been gathering at the synagogue every Wednesday afternoon. We alternate between knitting and playing mahjong, but the heart of our group is the joy of being together. We laugh, play, knit, crochet, and most of all, enjoy each other’s company.
Our group also puts our creativity to good use:
We knit and crochet serenity shawls for those facing medical challenges.
We make scarves and hats to donate to people experiencing homelessness.
We meet from 1:00–3:00pm in the Oneg Room, and we’d love for you to join us! Beginners are absolutely welcome – whether you’d like to learn knitting, crocheting, or mahjong, we’re happy to teach you.
Check the weekly update from Rabbi Cheryl to see what’s on the schedule each week and come be part of the fun. We promise you’ll enjoy Wednesdays at RSBI!
