Jody’s connection to Ramat Shalom Beth Israel runs deep. Her family became part of the community in 1988, and she celebrated her Bat Mitzvah here in 1996. Throughout middle and high school, Jody volunteered with the synagogue, ECC, and Torah School, gaining valuable insight into the inner workings of our community.
In 2018, Jody officially joined the professional staff as an administrative assistant. Today, she serves as the Director of Operations, blending her love for RSBI with extensive hands-on experience across all aspects of the organization. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the office and property team, managing contracting, human resources, accounting, and building resources.
A true local, Jody was born and raised in Plantation, where she still lives with her husband, Zach, and their two daughters.
Miss Anna is a cherished member of our Early Childhood Center family. For the past 14 years, she has been dedicated to upholding our high standards of excellence, delivering both exceptional education and the loving care that define our school.
Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and moved to South Florida in 2006. While searching for the perfect educational foundation for her own children, Melia and Kai, she discovered Ramat Shalom Beth Israel. She was drawn to our nurturing approach and deep commitment to emotional growth – values she now shares wholeheartedly with every child and family she works with.
Brett is a South Florida native and longtime Plantation resident. Nearly 20 years ago, a close friend and congregant had recommended Ramat Shalom Beth Israel not only for a possible place of employment, but as a spiritual home. She started her employment as a Torah School teacher and transitioned to teaching in the Early Childhood Center for 13 years. Throughout her time in the ECC, she enjoyed combining both her love for education and Judaism. In addition to her time as a staff member, Brett and her husband, Peter, have taken pride as they watched both of her children, Benjamin and Leia, grow and flourish while they attended both the Early Childhood Center and Torah School at Ramat Shalom Beth Israel. She treasures her connections with the children and families she has created within this amazing community both as an educator and as a parent.
Josh, who is beginning his 30th year as a youth director, is responsible for designing and delivering fun and innovative programming for grades K-12. Prior to coming home to Ramat Shalom Beth Israel, Josh served as the youth director at Temple Kol Ami Emanu El for 11 years and Congregation Anshai Emeth in Peoria, Illinois while also working as a television sports reporter/photographer and producer. Josh grew up in Denver, Colorado and was an active member of Temple Emanuel, their youth groups and NFTY-Missouri Valley. He recently married his wife, Amy and lives with his step-daughters, Cara and Lauren.
